Hi, I'm a software engineer and AI enthusiast with both a bachelor's and master's in Computer Science and Electronic Engineering From Imperial College London (Ranked 2nd in the world 2 years in a row). I specialised in Agentic and Generative AI systems in my final year and am currently a software engineer at Ocado Technology working in Machine Learning and Computer Vision. I love programming and have over 8 years of experience with both high-level and low-level programming. I was always fascinated by technology growing up, and now I'm looking to develop intelligent systems through software. As an Engineer and tech enthusiast, I want to develop my skills to help build the next generation of computer technology.
Ocado Technology | 2024 - current
Rotation 1:
Distributed Systems and Robotics.
Collaborated with several engineering teams and developed my own end to end solution - a new low latency vacuum system for a fleet of robotic arms in production.
The technical side involved concurrency in Go in a low-latency environment, gRPC for communication, C++ for creating an interface for robotic tele-operation with
virtual reality goggles (Meta Quest 3), and API and frontend UI (React) dev for the controller interface. This new functionality has increased warehouse vacuum
efficiency by 23-36% depending on usage.
Rotation 2:
Developing and optimising a large Java-based simulation application that models Ocado’s online retail system,
from modelling customer behaviour on the website, to the logistics of delivery time windows and routes for the drivers.
Also working on a Machine Learning project to understand and predict customer behaviour for running simulations.
Skills: Machine Learning, Java, Go, Python, C++, gRPC, Robotics, Low-latency Systems. DynamoDB
Amadeus | 2023
A special 6-month placement opportunity, working directly with senior engineers, business analysts, and product managers in an Agile environment to develop a novel set of features for major client airlines. This involved full-stack development on a large microservice-based architecture, mainly using the Java Spring framework and Angular CLI. I redesigned the architecture of my team’s main product. Integrating multiple backend systems together for data interchange and developing the UI on the frontend gave me a full understanding of this system’s architecture.
Skills: Java Spring Boot, Kafka, JavaScript, REST APIs, Back-end dev, Front-end (Angular), Microservices, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift.
Fundee Ltd | 2023
1st Engineer in the pre-seed stage working part-time to develop an MVP for a web-based property rental application. I implemented the full system development cycle end to end, which included real-time hosting of a booking system, account and property management, a search algorithm, online payment system, and an interactive mobile-friendly UI. I had a lot of responsibility as the main developer (and acting CTO) to create an expandable architecture and integrate services that allow easy upscaling in the future. I was also in charge of recruiting newer developers as the product scaled beyond just the MVP.
Skills: ReactJS, Next.js, HTML/TailwindCSS, AWS (RDS, S3, EC2), System Design, Leadership, Project and Business Management.
Ramboll | 2019
Interned at a top Engineering firm in London and assisted in carrying out real projects for clients. This involved performing mathematical simulation models and using industry-level modelling software with engineers on projects such as modelling a new electrical layout for the Apple Store in Brussels.
Skills: Applied Mathematics, Industry-level software, Teamwork, Problem-solving.
Imperial College London | 2020-2024 (Expected)
I'm in my 4th year of studies and have gained many technical and practical skills from my degree. Some of my favourite modules include Software Systems, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Distributed Ledgers (Blockchain), High Level (Functional) Programming, Embedded Systems and Robotics.
Outside of my degree, I also take interest in both technical and non-technical activities. I'm a member of the Imperial Data Science society and am also part of our competitive table tennis team.
Woodhouse College | 2018-2020
I studied Maths, Computer Science and Physics for my A-levels and was actively involved in academic societies such as the Electronics and Robotics clubs. I also participated and won the Silver Award for the British Physics Olympiad
Friern Barnet School | 2015-2018
I managed to excel at range of different subjects during my time in school. I achieved an A* for Mathematics, Computer Science, English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and French. In my final year I was awarded the school's Computer Science Cup for the highest skill in computer hardware and software among all students.
